Incident Type: Kidnapping
Incident Location: Downtown Glenwood Springs
GSPD Case: 2013-11795

On Friday evening, 07/26/2013 at approximately 5:30 pm, a juvenile female was walking in the downtown area of Glenwood Springs. She passed by a male on the sidewalk who grabbed her and forced her into his truck. The male proceeded to drive around for a couple hours, until he stopped at a secluded location in Glenwood Springs. At that point, the female physically resisted the male and was able to escape.

Suspect information —

  • White male, pale skin, apx. 25 years old
  • Possible East coast accent
  • No facial hair, no sideburns.
  • Medium length brown hair and green eyes
  • Small silver hoop earring in his left ear lobe
  • Tattoo on back of his neck
  • Wearing a black hoodie, dark blue jeans, and a red ball cap with a white “C” on the front. The hat had a fabric strap on the back to adjust the size.

Suspect vehicle information —

  • White extended cab early 2000s full‐size truck
  • White camper shell
  • Rust on front of vehicle near grille
  • Black leather seats, with black carpet
  • Inside smelled of tobacco from cigarette use
